I've been tagged by my lovely friend and fellow Ladybug, Kim. What does that mean exactly? Well her friend, Gretchen, asked her to post six unique things about herself. In turn, she is supposed to ask six of her friends to do the same. So, what are six unique things about myself?
This may take some time! Argh!
1. When I'm feeling a bit crafty, I make hairbows. I tried selling them for awhile (Piggies & Ponies), but found that the money wasn't worth the time it took to make them. So now I just do them for gifts or special friends!
2. I lead worship for the kids at our church. My husband plays guitar/sings and I sing/do hand motions. It's a lot of fun!
3. I live in a very small (20 houses?) but very fun neighborhood. We do a lot of cul-de-sac cookouts and "fire pit" nights. One family hosts a lot of wine tastings and family game nights. They even hosted a cornhole tournament! During the Christmas holiday, there are at least 2 or 3 parties, cookie swaps, etc. And for Halloween, someone is always getting "boo-ed". I LOVE my neighborhood. Woop-woop!
4. When I was in high school, I had a huge crush on Quinn Snyder (Duke basketball player).
5. I always wanted to be Elizabeth Shue in Adventures In Babysitters.
6. When no one is around, I dance like a maniac in my kitchen to "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire.

OH, what a blessing to live in that type of neighborhood! Our new neighborhood...noone comes out and everyone leaves at 7 am and comes back at 6pm...I miss my old home:(!

1. My hubby and I play volleyball in Cary - season champs 3 seasons in a row!
2. I teach Intro to PSY and Personality PSY at NCSU.
3. I love sending greeting cards to friends & family.
4. I have read the Twilight series books at least 5 times now!
5. I really am confused when it comes to basketball season -- I grew up a huge Duke fan, I have been at NCSU for 6 1/2 years now, and I secretly (well not much anymore) have a crush on Tyler -- I guess I'm okay w/any of them winning! =)
6. I eat at Subway at least 4 times a week.
these are always fun:
1. I straighten my curly hair 3 or 4 times a week.
2. I unload my grocery cart in the way i want it bagged at the store.
3. When the bedroom is over messy, I clean it by just throwing every bit of clothing on the floor in the wash. (should I admit that?)
4. My husband and I are becoming addicted to modern and mid-century modern architecture and furniture.
5. my mom thought I was mentally handicapped when I was a baby because I never cried.
6. My husband and I live for the beginning of hockey season.
