It Only Takes A Spark To Get A Fire Going...

Oh, how I love fall! Here in N.C., we've been experiencing some "fall-like" weather these past few days. And after you enjoy a couple of cooler days, it seems like something in you clicks. "Must have fire" (cavewoman speak for: flickering flames, smell of smoke, and yummy s'mores to boot!) Add some mellow music and friendly banter and you have a typical "campfire" in my neighborhood.

I've written about my 'hood in past posts. I am so thankful to live in a place where people are friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy socializing with each other. This weekend, we had 2 "campfires" (when Kate was little, that is what she would call our firepit gatherings and the name has stuck). You know I took pictures of both events, so I wanted to share those photos with you. First, a layout I found on the internet...I just supplied the text and the photo (how cute and easy):

Well, ladies and gents, I had hoped to share with you more pics from our fun weekend. But, alas, it's after midnight and this tired mommy knows that her kids will be full of energy in another 8 hours. It's off to bed. More to follow!

UPDATE: I moved the finished 2 page spread to a newer post.
