Okay, so I'm going back a few weeks (yes, before Thanksgiving) to share with you some fun pictures I took of our family at the Brier Creek Tree Lighting. We did it a couple of years ago, and I remember the kids enjoyed it...so I marked my calendar for this year's event!
A fun family night complete with reindeer antlers, a "sleigh" ride, Christmas carols, free Caribou coffee and sugar cookies, the Mr. & Mrs. Claus parade, a reunion with our favorite Kindergarten teacher, and some not-so-fabulous (according to Aaron) hot chocolate. Oh! And we bought a mirror at Kirkland's. Fun and productive.
It was the perfect night (cold enough to feel like winter) for this celebration, and it got me excited about the upcoming holidays. As time goes by, I find that I really love this time of year simply because I get to spend more time with the people I love: my family and friends.
