I didn't get it from my grandma's book upon the shelf...

Know those lyrics? Come on...take a wild guess!

I'll give you a hint.  The song touches upon my blog post topic tonight...recipes.

Don't go cheatin' and Google it, but leave me your guess in the comments.

As you may remember, I've shared recipes on here before, using my handy-dandy recipe template.
I love the fact that I can just plug the different recipes in to the same format, and print out my own
special recipe cards (or just upload them for your viewing pleasure).  Here's a sample of
what I'm talking about:

By the way, this is a great recipe if you are looking for some good dip & chips!

So basically I just take this template (in Adobe Photoshop Elements) and add the words.

Okay, so without further adieu, I want to show you a few of the templates I've been workin' on.  I realized after the fact on some of these that I needed to change the font color, but you get the idea.  What do you think? Which one is YOUR favorite?

(Josh keeps changing my google password...so, it's logged on as him right now. I didn't realize it in time...so, fyi...it's heather.:)

my favorite is the recipe card with the tree! But i like all things birdie and tree-y, so that's just me.

lyric? HC Jr.

I have no idea about the song, but my two favorite cards are the blue one with the stitched flowers, and the brown one with the tree. Great idea!

I love the first one filled with color, but who says you have to pick just one. Can't you spice it up and use them all...maybe one for desserts, one for appetizers, etc.

This is such a great idea. I was just trying to think of a nice way to organize my recipes instead of looking at the cut out magazine pages I have shoved into a file box. Do you just print them out? I like the tree.
